Overview

LogBI® is an analysis and reporting platform, which you can use to improve production capacity, reduce costs, and increase efficiency, quality and reliability of your plant.

LogBI analyzes data from plant-floor equipment, allowing you to create and track Key Performance Indicators, perform condition-based maintenance, and identify and eliminate root causes of reduced asset availability and utilization.

LogBI provides accurate, timely, and specific information about machine performance, detailed events, production information and more.

LogBI can help you define improvement initiatives for production processes, maintenance actions and quality assurance, and track these using OEE measurements to ensure improvements are sustained.
Main Features

LogBI is a complete system for efficiency monitoring, proactive maintenance and event collection and analysis. It offers:

Easy, flexible, scalable integration.
Reliable, 24/7 optimized data collection.
Data storage in a standardized, efficient, usable form.
Configurable data collection pre-processing capabilities.
Reporting engine for on-demand and automatic reports.
Large number of charts ready for use ‘outof- the-box’.
LogBI Deployment

LogBI is designed to be tailored to each unique plant environment based on its data and required outputs. Once data structures are established, many predefined reports can be put to use immediately. Integration and customization are simple, fast, and usually accomplished within few days of installation. Customization allows flexible configuration of schedules, performance parameters, custom events, and reports.

Since LogBI applications often evolve over time as new opportunities for improvement are uncovered, configurations are easily modified and new reports may be added without the need to interrupt ongoing data collection.
Data Collection

LogBI can collect data from any machine and HMI application which store files. All data is collected in real time by the server, or uploaded by users. Data is collected from all facets of the industrial process. It may include:

Machine events.
Production counts (Total/good/scrap).
Machine operational states.
Events generated by internal machinecomponents and gauges.
Manually-reported operator information.
Machine parameters, production recipes, machine-parts serial numbers.
Product IDs and tracking information.

The LogBI-Collect Module engine is optimized for speed and large amounts of data. It performs sophisticated preprocessing to avoid collecting any unnecessary information, and translates raw data into meaningful information used later by charts and reports.

LogBI data is stored in two separate SQL Server™ instances - one on a central server, and one on client stations. Once data collection begins, it operates 24/7. Most changes can be made to LogBI without interrupting data collection.
Pre-configured reports

LogBI includes a predefined set of reports:

Production
Performance
Throughput
Uptime
Event Summary/Details
Machine State History
Security

LogBI includes a complete security system. Users and groups can be created to specifically define permissions- by machines, chart-types, etc.

LogBI client authenticate users based on windows-identity login and SSO protocols, or use a custom authentication mechanism based on the company standards.

Data can be encrypted inside the database and on intranet data transfer to further secure sensitive data.

Charts and Reports

Charts can be plotted from machine-generated data either online (from an office desktop), or offline (near a machine at the plant floor).

Charts employ sophisticated analytics, and can present trend-lines, data-gaps, fluctuation and excursion analyses.

When used interactively with filters and enhanced viewing options, the charts present bottom-line, actionable results fast and accurately. This information can be used either by technical staff, to solve immediate problems, or by managers, to carry out off-line, on-going, plant-optimization activities. Charts, and anything else viewable in the application, can be assembled into "reports".

A "print-manager wizard" saves employees time by creating "report templates" which can be saved and later executed without reentering filters and parameters. Pre-configured reports are provided for:

Production
Performance
Throughput
Quality
Uptime
Event Detail
Machine State History

Custom parameter sets can be created and applied to any report template. The following can be configured in a parameter set:

Time filtering (date range, relative time, shift, period-types, named time filters)
Grouping
Soprting
Top-N Pareto filtering
Dictionaries

An administrator may be appointed to keep all report structures in sync with everyone using the application. The admin may also define, save and distribute report templates and filtersets.
LogBI - More than just data

LogBI platform provides the means to convert huge amount of meaningless data into actionable reports, customized to fit all users, from decision makers to machine operators.

The robust infrastructure enables adding new features specifically designed for yours and your clients' needs.
